Strata Schemes Management require that a property is appropriately insured. Our insurance assessment includes the reinstatement value and allowance for clearing debris and alternative accommodation in case the units are uninhabitable.
The valuation should be regularly reviewed, at a minimum every 5 years due to changes in construction and building costs. Once we have completed the initial valuation, updated valuations are offered at a discounted rate. We want to provide you with an ongoing experience and prefer to see our customers as ongoing clients into the future. We have discount rates for revaluing properties in the years to come as we see our role in providing updated Strata insurance quotes and possible changes to the Strata regulations as an ongoing matter.
All valuations are conducted by an accredited, insured and API Certified Practising Valuer in accordance with the Australian Property Instituted guidelines.
